99 Cooking Guide

Hey People of RStrainers, i have decided to make a cooking guilde, i have gotten 99 cooking already 4 times legit, the fastest i have gone is 6 days from 1-99. I will now share my knowledge how i got it so fast and quick

Recommended: COOKING gauntlets and atleast 10m

1-5: Cook Shrimp: This will take 13 Successful cooked Shrimp.

5-15: Cook Herring: This will take 41 successful cooked Herring.

15-25:Cook Trout: This will take 78 Successful cooked Trouts.

25-30Salmon: This will take 62 Successful cooked salmon.

30-40:I would recommend doing Salmons Still, but if you just want to get it over fast do Tunas, it will take 239 successful cooked tuna; if you want to do it the cheep way, it will take 266 Salmons.



40-80 I would recommend doing Lobsters. Reason why is down there.

Lobster cooked: 185 gp (going up 3gp a day)

Raw Lobster: 264

Price of Raw Lobsters: 16,241(amount of lobsters 40-80) x 264 = 4,287,642

Cooked lobsters: 185 x 16,241 = 3,004,585
Subtract Price of Raw Lobsters from Cooked.
Total Lost: 1,283,057
Not a bad price for 40-80 Cooking, that is 40 levels.

80-90:I would Recommend Doing Swordfish. Once you hit 80, it's all quick levels. You do not burn swordfish at 80 with cooking gauntlets.Reason why i recommend Swordfish is down there:

Raw Swordfish: 519 gp (going up 5 gp a day)

Swordfish: 450

Raw Swordfish: 24,002 x 519 = 12,456,038

Cooked Swordfish: 24,002 x 450 = 10,800,900
Subtract the Raw and the Cooked.

Total Amount lost: 1,655,138
Not bad for 80-90, if you would've done Lobsters, it would've been a total lost of 1,694,182. You just saved 39,044k, No more shoping at walmart !

90-94:I would Defiantly recommend doing this. This only takes 1-2 days to get. It takes basically 17 hours to do, if you pay attention or use BOTS it takes 14 hours. Reason why i recommend:

Cooked monkfish: 352 Gp Each

Raw Monkfish: 411

Raw Monkfish Overall: 17,322 x 411 = 7,119,342

Cooked Monkfish Overall Price: 352 x 17,322 = 6,097,344

Total Amount Lost: 1,021,998

94-99:This is the last Step of the guild, congratulations on getting this far ! keep it up
I would Recommend doing sharks or Rocktail for this Step; what ever gets you the level..

94-99: Rocktail; Ive never tried doing this. I got my 99s before there was Rocktail

Price of Uncooked Rocktail: 2,081 gp


Price of Cooked Rocktail: 2,072 gp

Amount Needed: 22,622

Uncooked: 22,622 x 2,081 = 47,076,382

Cooked: 22,622 x 2,072 = 46,872,794

Money Lost: 203,598gp

Overall Amount lost: 2-4m now look at that, it's basically a FREE 99 stat.
